Garden Consultations



Frog Fen Gardens will meet with you at your property and consult on your existing gardens. We will look at the overall health of your gardens and give recommendations on the best plant care (pruning, dividing, how to resolve pest and disease issues, etc.) plant location, maintenance for your gardens, including soil and mulch amendments. The fee for this service is $100.00 per hour. Should a softscape/Landscape Design be needed, the cost of the consultation will be included in the design fee.  

Landscape Design Consultation

Starting the Design Process, Frog Fen Gardens will meet with you on-site for a consultation to discuss with you your vision, wishes and requirements for your new landscape. An on-site inventory and analysis to collect information of existing structures, gardens and site conditions will be done to aid in the development of your Landscape Design. At the end of the Design Process, you will receive the final, fully labelled, to scale, landscape design, prepared using DynaScape AutoCAD (Computer Assisted Design), including a plant list. Every request is unique, the cost of this service depends on the property size, scope and detail of the project. This consultation service is included in the design fee.

Post Installation Consultation

Upon completion of your new Landscape Design, hardscape /softscape installation, Frog Fen Gardens will provide a one-hour post-installation consultation, giving guidance and advise on maintenance recommendations for your new beautiful gardens. Included is a digital booklet of plant information for future reference. These services are included in the design fee.
